Your chance to play Call of Duty with Bucs wide receiver, Chris Godwin

If you’ve ever thought about how cool it would be to play video games with Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ wide receiver Chris Godwin, you now have a chance to do just that.

Through the use of their foundation and in conjunction with Athletes and Causes, Godwin and his fiance Maria DelPercio are offering an hour of the Pro Bowl wide receivers time in support of their cause.

To enter, all Bucs fans need to do is contribute ten dollars or more towards helping the Team Godwin Foundation continue their off-field efforts to improve the lives of those in need.Appearing on Sirius XM with Lance Medow and Charles Davis , Godwin said of the raffle,“I love playing video games, especially Call of Duty. So I figured why not give a couple fans the opportunity to come play with me and - you know - just enjoy some time and kind of kick it.”The idea is certainly a creative one, and one Godwin hopes will help others find motivation to reach out in a time where our populations are more isolated then ever.“Obviously times are very hard on everybody,” Godwin said. “The more that we can get people to kind of help support these dogs that are homeless and looking for homes. Whether adopting them or fostering them, or just by financial support. I think there’s so many ways that you can kind of help, and I think this is just one small way that we can do that.”The winner of the raffle will be selected on June 9th at 8pm eastern, and notified by phone. From there, it’ll just be a matter of setting up a day and time to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star online for some good old fashioned digital warfare.Of course, this is just the latest outreach effort by Team Godwin this off-season. Earlier this month, Godwin sent the following video via Twitter in an effort to identify and show appreciation for several essential personnel helping efforts in response to COVID-19.Last year, Bucs Nation chronicled some of the community efforts being taken by Bucs players including Godwin, Jameis WinstonMike Evans and Lavonte David. In this time of limited opportunity, it’s good to see these efforts continuing, and the creative juices are flowing as everyone waits to get back to business leading up to the 2020 NFL Season.Chris Godwin wasn’t done talking to Medow and Davis on Sirius XM however, so stay tuned to Bucs Nation for more on that conversation.
