If you’ve ever thought about how cool it would be to play video games with Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ wide receiver Chris Godwin, you now have a chance to do just that.

But off the field, Godwin is making just as big an impact with his Team Godwin Foundation, which he runs with his fiancee Mariah DelPercio. The foundation helps animals in need in the community, and Godwin recently went on Instagram to put out a call for help for a lovely canine in need of a forever home.

But he’s not just trying to make waves on the field. He’s trying to make waves in the community and for others who can’t make their own. Those others are animals. Dogs, specifically.

This season, Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin has an incentive for catching passes on Sundays. For every catch that Godwin makes, he is pledging $50 to rescue dogs.

Godwin has a “Receptions for Rescue” campaign, inviting fans to pledge a donation for every catch he makes. Godwin himself pledged $50 for each catch to get things started, and the program has a modest goal of $10,000 for the first year…
